Calculate your Amazon KDP royalty for ebooks (35% and 70%) and paperbacks after printing cost. Free, no sign-up.
How KDP royalties work
Ebooks earn 70% or 35% of the list price. Under the 70% plan Amazon also deducts a delivery fee of about $0.15 per MB (US store), and the list price must be $2.99–$9.99. Paperbacks earn 60% of the list price minus printing cost (40% for expanded distribution). Printing cost depends on page count, trim size and ink; the estimate here assumes black & white at about $1.00 + $0.012 per page, so enter your exact cost from the KDP dashboard for accuracy.
