What BSR tells you
Best Sellers Rank compares your recent sales with every other book in the store, so a lower number means more sales. Amazon does not publish the formula. This estimate interpolates approximate rank-to-sales benchmarks that authors commonly report (for example, rank 1,000 ≈ 25–30 sales a day, rank 100,000 ≈ under 1 a day). Use it to compare niches, not to predict exact income.
